‘Self-Defence’: Uncle shot dead by nephew

The attacker was injured too in the incident.

HARIPUR: A man was shot dead while two, including the attacker, were injured in the jurisdiction of Ghazi Police station here on Saturday. Police quoted a relative as saying that Sajadul Haq found his wife sitting with his nephew, Muhammad Asif, at 1am. Haq objected to Asif’s presence which was followed by a scuffle. Haq fired at Asif and injured him; Asif fired back killing his uncle on the spot. Asif was taken to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad where doctors describe his condition critical. Police say according to Asif, he acted in self defence. Asif’s grandfather, who is also Haq’s father, was also injured in the scuffle.
