Busted: Two kilograms heroin seized, three arrested

Golra police arrested three people, including a woman.

The Golra police have arrested three people, including a woman, and seized a large amount of drugs from their possession.


A police team comprising Assistant Superintendent of Police Dr Ghias Gull, Station House Officer Qasim Khan Niazi and Sub-inspector Ameer Umar arrested a woman during routine checking at Motorway Chowk and seized two kilograms of heroin from her.

She was identified has Irana Bibi, a resident of Peshawar. In another incident, the same team arrested Noor Ali, a resident of Charsadda, and Ibrahim, a resident of Peshawar, during inspection and seized over 400 grams of hashish from their possession. Islamabad Senior Superintendent of Police Muhammad Yousaf Malik has appreciated the team’s work and directed them to maintain strict vigilance against the suspects.
