Caught: Three alleged militants arrested for planning attacks
Police said the men were also involved in targeted killings, kidnappings and robberies in Karachi.

Three alleged militants from the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were arrested by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Saturday.
The CID officials allege that the men, Danish, Tariq and Shan intended to carry out attacks on political and religious leaders in Karachi whom they refuse to name. According to them the men were trained in Waziristan.
A team led by SSP Mohammad Fayyaz Khan conducted a raid near Vita Chowrangi in the Korangi Industrial Area. Five kilogrammes of explosives, six mortar shells, 15 detonators, nine explosive devices, three TT pistols, bullets, two electric wire sets and a stolen car were seized from the men.
The police said that they were also involved in targeted killings, kidnappings and robberies in Karachi and planned attacks on prominent leaders.
