Relief for IDPs : 21 trucks sent to Mohmand Agency

Twenty-one truckloads of relief goods were sent to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Mohmand Agency by Multan Corps on Saturday.
The goods were collected by the Armed Forces with assistance from the well off people of the city.
Along with the relief goods, eid gifts were also sent for children residing in the camps. Major general Sadiq Ali, who oversaw the departure of trucks, said the relief goods included eatable and other essential items.
He said the goods sent would be sufficient for 4,000 families.
He said the army believed that its job would not be complete only by fighting terrorists and eliminating terrorists from the federally administered tribal areas (FATA).
“We have to take care of the IDPs too. The IDPs will be rehabilitated in their homes once the areas are cleared of all terrorists.
Major general Ali said the armed forces would fight the terrorists until peace prevailed in the country.
A large number of people attended the ceremony ahead of the departure of the trucks for Mohmand Agency.
