Suspects threaten victim of uploading her video on social media

A young girl was gang-raped in Abdullahpur by five people who abducted her and threatened to release a video of her on social media.

The victim’s mother, a resident of Abdullahpur, registered a case with the police after her daughter was abducted while on her way to purchase groceries.

Police report, the victim was forcefully taken by suspects Daniyal and Basit and driven away in a car. They were joined by accomplices Abbas and Azam, who then sexually assaulted her at gunpoint and recorded the act, threatening to upload it on social media if she told anyone.

Abbas and Azam later left her unconscious in the street and fled.

Mansoorabad police registered a case against the four accused under the provisions of subsection (2) of section 376 Gang Rape. One accused, Daniyal, has been arrested, and police have launched raids to apprehend the remaining accomplices.

Mansoorabad SHO Umar Sarfraz Warraich stated that once the other accused are taken into custody, the truth will be revealed, and the victim is currently undergoing medical treatment.In February, a private bus company guard allegedly raped an 18-year-old hostess in a moving bus at gunpoint.
