Unutilised funds to be reallocated

The unutilised funds of various development schemes of the culture department will be reallocated.
The decision was taken in a meeting held to review the annual development schemes of the department.
Presiding over the meeting, Additional Secretary Nazia Jabeen urged the completion of all the ongoing development schemes within the stipulated period.
According to a media release, she said all the projects except those related to ‘bilateral communication’ and Alhamra Academy of Visual Arts were continuing in the right direction.
She said funds were required for Bazm Iqbal, PILAC and Majlis Taraqi-e-Adab to complete their projects.
The additional secretary information about the unutilised funds should be shared in writing. She said the available resources would be utilised to enhance departmental efficiency. She added that the contemporary requirements should be kept in mind while launching new schemes.
