Leading firms appraise UoS students

The University of Sargodha (Uos) organised “Job Fair 2023” on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by the UoS, more than 50 leading companies and organisations from different sectors conducted interviews of candidates.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas expressed his satisfaction with the success of the event and congratulated the organisers of the fair. He reiterated the university's commitment to provide its students with the best possible opportunities to build successful careers and contribute to society

Floral festival

The Director General of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), Syed Tauqeer Haider Kazmi, said on Thursday that all the resources were being utilised to provide healthy and recreational opportunities to the people.

He said the authority had organised a seven-day floral festival in connection with the Jashan-e-Bharan to provide a recreational and healthy environment to the people of Sargodha.

He said that apart from the flower exhibition, various programmes, including culture and magic show, fire dance and other colorful programmes, were also being organised in which the guests and participants were showing keen interest.

The PHA DG said that the culture of the country and talent of local artists were being highlighted through this platform.
