Nine outlaws arrested, weapons seized

Cases registered against the nabbed accused as further investigation underway

ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad capital police apprehended nine outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.

He said that Ramna police team arrested an accused namely Shariq Yameen possessing an illegal weapon and recovered one 30-bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Golra police team arrested two accused namely Ali Sheer and Aftab Ahmed involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders.

Similarly, the Sangjani police team arrested four accused namely Rafique Ullah, Mustafa, Aamir Mehmood and Murtaza and recovered 520 grams of hashish, two 30-bore pistols and one 12-bore shotgun with ammunition from their possession.

Moreover, the Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Ehtisham involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered one 30-bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Shahzad Town police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Jabbar possessing illegal weapons and recovered one 30-bore pistol with ammunition from their possession.

Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
