UVAS signs MoU for scientific research

Agreement aims to facilitate scientific, academic cooperation with South Korean university

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Seoul National University in South Korea.

The agreement aims to facilitate scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions. The MoU was signed by the UVAS Vice Chancellor, Dr Nasim Ahmad and Dr Joon-Seok Chae from Seoul National University.

Under the agreement, both universities will exchange faculty for research, share scientific knowledge and collaborate on joint projects related to ticks and tick-borne diseases.

During his visit, Dr Joon-Seok Chae reviewed the facilities at the UVAS City Campus, including the Anatomy & Histology, Biosafety level-3 lab, Meat Science & Technology, Pet Centre, Quality Operation Lab, and Outdoor Hospital.
