Zaidi termed cases against Imran Khan as politically motivated

KARACHI:

Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the Sindh Bachao Tehreek or save Sindh movement from March 17. PTI Sindh president and former federal minister Ali Zaidi said that he will wake up the people of Sindh to stand up against the government.

Addressing a press conference at the party’s provincial office Zaidi announced that after the six-day campaign in Sindh, they will resume after Ramazan.

He claimed that Peoples Party (PPP) and the team of 100 ministers is incompetent. He blamed former president Asif Ali Zardari playing biggest role in toppling the PTI government. The former federal minister said that out of 3,100 policemen, 1,600 are doing the duty of VIPs.

Zaidi termed cases against Imran Khan as politically motivated. He accused Sindh government and PPP leadership of backing land grabbers.

“We do not accept threats from anyone, we are doing jihad,” he claimed.On the occasion former Sindh CM Liaquat Jatoi said that no one is asking where the Rs30 billion allocated for agriculture and health budget have gone.
