LAHROE:

Farhat Shehzadi, who is facing non-bailable arrest warrants in a money laundering case, has submitted applications before a district and sessions judge and the FIA director general against alleged abuse of the process of law and violation of jurisdiction.

The applicant also called for quashing an FIR registered on February 28 at the Lahore Anti-Money Laundering Circle police station.

She stated that her counsel Advocate Azhar Siddique, along with others, had held a meeting with an FIA director on March 2, raised questions regarding the process adopted in the matter and suggested the formation of a team comprising members from both sides to discuss the issues.
