A gang of bandits in the district, attacked the dera of a local landlord and injured two people on Friday. The armed men attacked Jhok Rohal landlord Saadullah Makli’s dera and tried to grab cotton crop on a two acres of land. The villagers exchanged fire over the incident and the bandits used grenades and rocket launchers. Two local residents, Samiullah and Abdul Rasheed, were injured. Locals said a gang of 50 bandits was involved in robberies in the area and have informed the police.
