Teenager crushed to death by tractor

Victim had been riding pillion on his father’s bike

BUREWALA:

A teenager was crushed to death while his father sustained serious injuries in a collision between a motorcycle and a speedy tractor-trolley near Village 303/EB on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, Mumtaz Ahmed and his 14-year-old son Muhammad Shahroz, residents of Burewala city, had been returning home when a tractor-trolley hit their motorcycle near Village 303/EB.

Muhammad Shahroz died on the spot while Mumtaz Ahmed sustained serious injuries.

Rescue personnel shifted the body and the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital while police impounded the tractor-trolley and opened their investigation into the accident.
