Eight-day spring festival delights community

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has kicked off its Spring festival which will run until March 8. The festival has drawn people from all walks of life who want to celebrate the colors of spring.
The festival began with a Nutrition and Food Festival leading to Book Fair, Agricultural Exhibition, and Buffalo Beauty and Milking Contest, organized by different departments.
The events were inaugurated by several notable figures, including UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Professor Jaehan Kim from Chungnam National University, and several deans and directors of UAF.
Dr. Khan stressed unity and cooperation to uplift the country.
The Spring festival offers a range of activities, including sports, a Gur Mela, Greyhound races, tent pegging, a literature festival, etc.
