Kaifi Khalil thanks his ‘broken homies’ for giving love to ‘Kahani Suno 2.0’

Kaifi Khalil has become a true internet sensation with his work going global and trending even after months of its release. The music video for Kahani Suno 2.0 now ranks at number eight globally with over 114 million views – and the singer is grateful for it.

On Sunday, Khalil posted a screenshot of the YouTube page for his song’s music video that showed the whopping number of views and the global ranking of the clip. “Thank you Allah and thank you so much all of you for your pure love and support. Sending lots of love and prayers for all my fans,” he wrote.

The singer vowed that he’ll always keep writing what he feels for his "broken homies.” He added, “Mai hamesha shukar guzar rahunga aur hamesha koshish karunga ke ap sub ke liye hamesha likhta rahun jo mai mehsus karta hoon apke liye (I’ll always be thankful and I’ll keep trying to write what I feel for all of you.) Love you all my broken homies.” Concluding, he extended his love and respect to his “sir” Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan.

Even though the soulful track was released last year, the craze surrounding it hasn't toned down one bit! Last month, Khalil’s tear-jerking melody bagged a spot in the top global music video chart on YouTube. The Kana Yaari crooner posted a screenshot of the music video highlighting the part that showed the song attain the 55th ranking. He also added a heartfelt caption to express his gratitude for reaching this milestone.

"Thank you so much for giving my story a voice! All my love and prayers to everyone who has supported me throughout my career," penned Khalil.
