Varsity teachers set to leave on int’l study tour

Focus of the study tour is to increase participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies to become good educators

The USAID’s Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA) has organised two international exchange visits for 40 officials from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and various Pakistani varsities to improve their capabilities.

According to a statement, the focus of the first international study tour is to increase participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies to become good educators. The US exchange training is being facilitated by renowned higher education experts Dr Claire Major, Dr Steve Burian, Dr Lisa Pawloski, and Dr Karri Holley.

The Pakistani faculty participating in this 2-week US visit has completed the teaching and learning online course as well as the high-impact practices and collaborative learning workshops.
