Man stabs brother for property

Police took possession of the bodies and arrested the accused, Sohail Raheel

A man stabbed his younger brother to death during a domestic dispute in Gulberg police station area.

The two brothers, identified as 50-year-old Sohail Raheel and 45-year-old Sohail Faisal, got into an argument over a property dispute. Both brothers were living in the same house and the property became the bone of contention between the two. The elder brother, Sohail Raheel, allegedly stabbed his younger brother, Sohail Faisal, with a knife, resulting in severe injuries. Sohail Faisal was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The police took possession of the bodies and arrested the accused, Sohail Raheel. The police have started an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, in the village of Chak 543 GB, a kinship dispute between two groups turned violent.

The dispute was between the Sarfraz group and the Munir group, and it led to a fight with axes and sticks. The fight resulted in the death of 35-year-old Umar Daraz, son of Sarfraz, and nine people from both groups were injured. The injured individuals, including Arif, Yasin, Naseer Ahmad, Ahmed Falak Sher, Munir, Fazal Abbas, Wali Sadiq, Saadi Ahmed, and Malka, were rushed to the hospital for medical assistance.
