Research and development: Rs32m earmarked for three cells in K-P

Establishment of research-and-development cells in three chambers of commerce in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

PESHAWAR:
The Ministry of Commerce has approved Rs31.62 million for the establishment of research-and-development cells in three chambers of commerce in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, a statement said on Friday. In an Export Development Fund meeting held under the chairmanship of Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim, it was decided that the cells would be established at Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Tribal Areas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) and Dera Ismail Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). Out of the total allocated fund, HCCI, TACCI and DCCI will get Rs6.78 million, Rs19.94 million and Rs4.90 million, respectively.
