I won't leave acting, you'd have to fire me: Shah Rukh Khan
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not only popular for his memorable acting performances but also for the admirable way he treats his loving fans.
Given his hectic schedule, King Khan treated his Twitter followers with a candid Q&A session to catch up with each other. During this, he revealed that he will "never retire from acting," and continue to come back on the big screen "hotter" than ever.
"Who will be the next big superstar in Bollywood after you retire?" asked one fan. In response to this, the Pathaan actor said, "I will never retire from acting. I will have to be fired and maybe even then I will come back hotter!"
Taking the chance, another tweep also questioned, "What was on your mind when you were taking a break for three, four years?" To this, Khan responded, "I just sat at home and watched films all day. This practice helped me view the world through the audience's lens, not a filmmaker's."
Moving on, the Raees star also revealed how his two kids in their childhood believed that everyone worked in films due to their star-studded family. "My two kids, Aryan and Suhana, always thought everyone in the world worked on TV because they saw all our friends on it," he shared.
Later, Khan also confessed how he is still camera-shy. "I get awkward seeing myself on screen," he said after a fan asked him how he feels seeing himself on television.
Before concluding the online session, Khan replied to some of the queries showing his humourous personality. "How do you feel knowing you are the King Khan of Bollywood?" asked a Twitter user. "Right now I am cleaning my son’s toys and can’t find a crucial Lego piece, so I am not feeling like any King," quipped the Om Shanti Om star.
"What is the reason for your evergreen beautiful smile?" questioned another fan. "I think life is short, so smile while you still have teeth," Khan playfully remarked.
The star was last seen in Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film, which marked Khan's comeback after a four-year-hiatus, has managed to break several records. According to The Indian Express, Pathaan has now entered the coveted INR1000 crore club. Khan's latest offering has been one of the biggest hits of his glittering decades-long career.
