ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa admitted in a statement to a journalist that he brought down the PTI government, insisting that there should be an inquiry into the matter within the army.

In an interview with a private TV channel, he said that the Bajwa policy is still going on. “General Bajwa arrogantly stated that he decided the fate of the government. People thought that the government fell because of General Bajwa.”

Imran said that he himself has admitted that General Bajwa dropped the veil. “It became clear to the people that the army chief brought down the government. They together brought down our government and got together.”

To a question, he said that the Election Commission was in collusion with them, “there cannot be a transparent election, as policemen have been appointed to rig the election”.

It seems that the elections in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will be held in 90 days.
