Dania Shah’s plea against arrest rejected
She was arrested on the complaint of the deceased’s daughter

The Sindh High Court (SHC) rejected on Thursday Dania Shah's plea against her arrest from Lodhran, Punjab, in connection with private videos of the late televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
A two-member bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, heard the plea against the arrest of Aamir Liauqat's third wife.
Liaquat Gabol, the petitioner's lawyer, told the judge that the police failed to fulfil legal requirements in Dania's arrest from Lodhran. She was arrested on the complaint of the deceased’s daughter.
