No arrest in Keamari IBO

Janwari said the entire area was placed under strict police watch before the operation

KARACHI:

Police conducted an intelligence-based operation in district Keamari, but failed to arrest any suspects.

Keamari Senior Superintendent of Police Fida Hussain Janwari said that the operation was carried out ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL-8) and a peace exercise scheduled for this month.

Janwari said the entire area was placed under strict police watch before the operation. The area was cordoned off and police went house to house as part of the search. During the operation, police searched 40 houses.

The police used the “Talaash” app during the operation which contains criminal records. Police said that they had not made any arrests.
