53 women in latest batch of 891 police graduates
A total of 891 police officers, including 53 women, were part of the 115th batch of graduates of the Shahid Hayat Police Training College Saeedabad, with their passing out parade held on Thursday.
Additional Inspector General of Police Training Abdul Qadir Qayyum was the chief guest at the occasion. Deputy Inspector General of Police Training Abdul Hameed, Shahid Hayat Police Training College Commandant Dr Syed Muhammad Abbas Rizvi and other senior police officers were present at the passing out parade.
AIG Qayyum lauded the participants for completing the rigorous course while telling them to prepare for the challenges ahead.
He praised members of the Sindh police for sacrificing their lives in the line of duty while ensuring the safety of the lives and property of the people.
