Gusty winds prevailed in Karachi on Tuesday. The wind speed was recorded at 36km per hour, and the maximum temperature dropped by two degrees. The new system is expected in the city on February 12.

The Meteorological department (MET) reported that the city remained cold and dry, sea breezes were completely inactive, and gusty winds blew from the north-east direction of Balochistan.

According to the Met Office, the maximum wind speed was recorded at 36 kilometres per hour. Dusty winds also blew in some places in city's suburbs, and the wind speed may be higher than usual today. The city's minimum temperature increased by 1.5 per cent compared to the previous day. While a 2-degree decrease was recorded in maximum temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 25.5 degrees.

It may be noted that on Tuesday, the minimum temperature of Karachi was recorded at 10.5 degrees and the maximum at 27.5 degrees. Due to light fog in the morning, the boundary was recorded at 3.5 kilometres.

According to the current forecast of the Early Warning Centre of the Department of Meteorology, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry throughout Sindh. There may be fog in the plains of Sindh in the morning.
