KARACHI:

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rahman said that the entire Karachi is standing with JI to counter the feudal thinking of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

The real problem is not the mayor and deputy mayor, but to save the city from the monopolistic and feudal dictatorship of the PPP.

The issue of Pakistan Steel Mill will be raised with full force after the election of the Mayor and workers will have a strong and powerful voice of an elected mayor.

The JI leader expressed these views while talking to a delegation led by Pakistan Steel Labor Union (PASLU) President Asim Bhatti and General Secretary Ali Haider Gabol, at Noor Haq Institute on Saturday. The delegation included PASLU Vice President Mohammad Atif Riaz, Joint Secretary Safwan Rahman, Information Secretary Umair Siddiqui, Mohammad Yasin, Farhat Hussain, Zulfikar Sheikh, newly elected General Counsel Gulshan Hadid Kashif Bhatti. Deputy Ameer of JI Karachi Dr Osama Razi was also present in the meeting.

Addressing the delegation, Rehman said that the seats taken away from JI will be returned after the hearing of Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) on February 2.

The thinking of the entire city has turned against the PPP and the people of Karachi are standing with the JI to fight against feudalism. He said that JI has always supported the employees and workers of the steel mill. The delegation congratulated Hafiz Naeem Rehman on the outstanding success of his party in Karach and presented him a bouquet and Ajrak shawl.
