Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested at least 10 terror suspects during raids across different parts of the province. According to a CTD spokesperson, the department conducted extensive and coordinated combing operations across Punjab to avert any untoward incident.
CTD conducted 44 combing and search operations across different districts, he said, adding that during these operations, 2,568 suspects were interrogated, 429 persons were biometrically checked and 10 suspects were arrested. The spokesperson added that 5 FIRs were registered against the arrested suspects in Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Dina Jehlum and other areas, with further investigations under way.
The spokesman said that CTD Punjab is proactively pursuing its goal of a safe and secure Punjab and will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to bring terrorists and anti-state elements to justice.
