Jinnah’s pictures exhibited at Mohatta Palace
The collection of rare photographs of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah were showcased to the public at the exhibition organised at Mohatta Palace.
According to details, the daughter and paternal granddaughter of Quaid-e-Azam's personal photographer Ziauddin Burni presented more than 200 memorable pictures of Jinnah which reflect the various aspects of his life.
The exhibition paid a tribute to the great leader while a large number of people visited and liked the exhibition, especially the new generation was enlightened about the life of the father of the nation and the struggle he had done in the journey of freedom.
Speaking to the media, Zareen Barni said, "our family have the rare photographs of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, which we wanted to share with the nation as these pictures have special importance to the country and the nation. Burni added that the exhibition has showcased the important pictures of Quiad-e-Azam between 1947 and 1948. She said the exhibition aimed to inform Pakistanis about the struggle of Quaid, from which students can learn a lot.
"This is my father's beautiful contribution to the country's history, which should be exhibited to the nation's youth.
Present at the exhibition, the visitors said that such an exhibition renews the determination to work for the country.
