A man killed his cousin due to a family dispute and dumped the body near the Wasa pond in the Ghulam Mohammad Abad area of Faisalabad.
According to reports, 25-year-old Usman Haider, a resident of 217 Rabb Chakra in Ibrahim Town, was taking his cousin, 20-year-old Osman, with him to purchase flour from home.
However, due to personal hatred, Haider shot his cousin in the back while they were riding a motorcycle on the way, injured him by tossing him near the Wasa pond roadside of Chakra, and fled. Osman, unfortunately, lost the battle of life and death and passed away.
The incident was discovered by passers-by who saw the body of the deceased and informed the police.
The Ghulam Mohammad Abad police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to Allied Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The police have also started raids to arrest the accused, Usman Haider.
Furthermore, over the last 24 hours, a man was discovered dead in Faisalabad’s outskirts, and another young man was killed in a bus accident.
Locals discovered the body of a 35-year-old man on the side of the road near Novelty Pull and reported it to the D-type colony police.
The victim was then taken to Allied Hospital’s mortuary.
A young man named Adeel Maqbool was riding a motorcycle when he was killed by a speeding bus on Sheikhupura Road near Addah Johal.
The body was also taken to a mortuary, and police are investigating both incidents.
