Another lawyer dead: Courts to be boycotted
The SBC, Karachi Bar Association and the Sindh High Court Bar Association have called for a boycott on Friday.
KARACHI:
Sindh Bar Council (SBC) has announced that court proceedings will be boycotted on Friday to protest against the killing of a lawyer Mohammed Chinoy.
A statement issued by the SBC demanded that the government compensate the family with half a million rupees. The SBC and Karachi Bar Association have called for a boycott of the courts on Friday. Meanwhile, the Sindh High Court Bar Association managing committee announced a strike from Friday till Eidul Fitr which is a total of three working days.
