In this regard, Maripur police station SHO Inspector Ghulam Hussain Korai said that a person named Kashif Raza had thrown his two children into the sea and tried to commit suicide himself, but he was saved. SHO Korai said that Raza drove to Manora Beach and tossed his two children, six-year-old Kenric, and eight-year-old Cederic, into the water due to an argument with his wife.

They were not drowning, but as per Raza's statement, he pushed their heads under water till they died.

On a question, SHO said that no FIR registered by the police immediately. Members of both families (Kashif and his wife) said they were devastated with grief and were in mourning and will talk to police after a few days.
