Sindh’s flood recovery on track

ISLAMABAD:

Ninety-five per cent of floodwater was drained out from the flood-affected areas on both the right and the left bank of the Indus river in Sindh, while 80% of the target of sowing mustard and sunflower seeds was achieved, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) was informed on Tuesday.

The NDMA met at the National Emergencies Operations Centre (NEOC) with its chairman Lt-Gen Inam Haider Malik in the chair.

The meeting received briefing about the recovery and rehabilitation progress in the provinces after floods 2022.
