33 LG candidates in 16 districts passed away

As many as 33 candidates pass away before the second phase of local bodies elections in 16 districts of Karachi and Hyderabad divisions.
According to the details, as many as 12 candidates who had been nominated for the joint seat of union council chairman and vice chairman have died since the time their nomination papers were submitted. Similarly, 22 candidates who were running for district council, town committee, municipal committee and UC ward members seats also passed away.
In Malir district, a candidate for UC ward member passed away. Similarly, one UC chairman, one vice chairman and two UC ward member candidates of district Korangi have died and two UC ward members in district east died.
A candidate for UC chairman of district south died while a vice chairman candidate of district west also died.
Two candidates for chairman and one for chairman and vice chairman in Keamari district while four candidates for UC ward member have also died. Likewise, a candidate for district councilor in Matiari district, a candidate for chairman and vice chairman in Tando Allahyar district, a candidate for district councilor, three of town committee, municipal committee and UC councilor died in Hyderabad district.
A UC councilor candidate died in Jamshoro district. Similarly, three candidates for town committee, municipal committee and UC councilor in Dadu have passed away. One candidate for UC chairman and vice chairman in Sujawal district died while one for UC councilor, one for UC chairman and vice chairman died in Thatta district.
