PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) cabinet on Tuesday condemned President Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazl Rahman statement regarding stoppage of funds for K-P.

The cabinet in its meeting with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the chair strongly condemned PDM president’s for his statement in which he advocated the stoppage of funds to K-P and said that such statements and acts by Maulana are a clear-cut enmity with the people of this province.

The meeting besides the cabinet members was also attended by the provincial chief secretary, senior member board of revenue and administrative secretaries of various government departments.

The cabinet termed it disrespectful to an elected government and people of the province. Such actions on the part of Maulana has unveiled his real face to the masses, observed the cabinet.

Addressing the meeting, the chief minister directed the finance department to approve the SNEs for all the completed schemes in the province within a week.
