Relatives protest against abduction of family members in Sindh
The family members and relatives of the four men, who were kidnapped in Kashmore, Sindh, staged a protest demonstration outside Swat Press Club on Saturday. They demanded of the provincial and federal governments to take steps for the safe recovery of their relatives who were kidnapped by dacoits, adding that now a hefty amount was being asked for their release.
Talking to journalists, they said that on November 5, their relatives Najeebullah, Ihanullah, Habibullah and their friend were lured into a trap by the armed bandits. “They were lured into the trap by means of the sale of an excavator machines and now these robbers are demanding Rs15 million for their release,” they said, urging the K-P and Sindh chief ministers, prime minister as well as the army chief to take notice of the situation and ensure safe recovery of their relatives.
It may be mentioned here that this is not the first time that residents of K-P have been kidnapped by the bandits in Sindh. In the past few months, three such incidents have happened.
