‘Haris’ demand activation of DVC

HWA president government’s response towards rehabilitation of flood victims has been very poor

The Hari Welfare Association (HWA) has called for the activation of the District Vigilance Committees (DVC) for effective monitoring of peasants’ rights.

At a press conference in Nawabshah, the HWA president Akram Khaskheli lamented that the federal and Sindh government are indifferent to the violation of the rights of peasants.

He said that government’s response towards rehabilitation of flood victims has been very poor as a result peasants find it hard to work in their fields
