With the digital revolution sweeping the nation, it is evident that Pakistan has no shortage of talent. Growing rapidly over the next few years, eSports has become a popular medium for people of all ages. In the past few years, PUBGM has had a large impact on the eSports industry, encouraging a number of dedicated athletes to succeed.

Due to its high revenue potential, eSports have become one of the most lucrative industries on the planet. This is especially true in the APAC region, where PUBGM played a significant role in establishing the Pakistani sports community. In today's digital age, where 39% of the world's population is gamers, eSports have emerged as one of the most socially interactive sports.

As reported by Statista, there are about 30 million gamers in Pakistan, accounting for 16% of the population. By 2026, they are expected to reach to 50.9 million. PUBGM leads the Pakistani gaming market as a mobile-first market, and its growth in tournaments and corporate integration validate its popularity.

Esports have truly changed the way we think about sports in the modern era. Previously seen as a waste of time, eSports now offer numerous benefits including improving reaction time, motor skills, critical thinking, communication, and hand-eye coordination. In contrast, traditional sports emphasise speed, agility, and physical strength, demonstrating that both are beneficial.

A leader in the eSports landscape, PUBGM, which recently won the Esports Mobile Game of the Year Award at the Esports Awards 2022 in Las Vegas, believes that physical sports and eSports are inextricably linked. In addition to being Pakistan's number one online gaming platform, PUBGM has also been actively supporting physical sports in addition to supporting eSports in the country.

Keeping with its beliefs, PUBGM became the official eSports partner of cricket, the country's most beloved game. PUBGM launched a campaign to support the Pakistan Cricket team with the slogan #ShabaPakistan a phrase cricketers often use to compliment each other's performance. As part of Pakistan Super League 2022, the online gaming platform joined hands with Lahore Qalandar.

As a way to get its fans into the quintessential cricket groove, the gaming platform added in-game jerseys with exciting rewards. The partnerships gathered massive traction both online and offline, pleasing both physical sport and eSport athletes and supporters. It was further accentuated by the addition of a Pakistan Cricket Team jersey in the game, a nod to the country's love of cricket.

With the arrival of the Football World Cup, PUBGM welcomed the world famous Argentinian player Lionel Messi, who took home the coveted FIFA 2022 World Cup trophy, as their honorary Global Chicken Cup Captain to march into the Global Chicken World Cup.

The collaboration featured a unique collection of in-game outfits, and other items available for the PUBGM football aficionados to show off their sporting prowess on the battleground. While the World Cup was in full swing on the ground, PUBGM players were dominating the Global Chicken World Cup with Messi.

The PUBGM has not only set the eSports scene in Pakistan on fire, but also contributed to the upliftment of Pakistan's physical sports landscape. Over the past few years, PUBGM has organised several championships to promote and empower Pakistan's talented youth to participate in eSports. It has also brought to light thousands of dedicated esport athletes from Pakistan and millions of supporters.

The country is ranked 29 out of 150 in terms of eSport earnings, with 278 local players earning a combined total of PKR 1.1 billion. It is believed that mobile games are expected to generate PKR 38.9 billion if the right support is provided.

Recently PUBGM held a one-of-a-kind eSports event, PUBG MOBILE Campus Challenge (PMCC), which brought thousands of students from across the country together to compete for PKR 4 million in a Grand Prize.

A PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) 2022 was held on the platform, where 16 teams competed for a prize pool of PKR 6.8 million and qualified for the PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) Spring 2023.

This proves, in fact, that when technology and sports come together, a multifaceted sporting universe arises that caters both to individuals who have a digital affinity and physical affinity for sports, making sports an enjoyable and accessible experience for a wide range of people.

Each sport has its own set of pros and cons, requiring different skill sets and fitness levels from the participants. It is therefore apparent that they are not competing, but rather working together towards the same goal of enhancing skills and developing personal abilities.

By contributing to the happiness of both sports in a variety of ways, PUBGM has successfully brought a plethora of countries onto the global map of eSports.
