Fahd Haroon appointed CM’s special assistant for media affairs

Appointment was made on the recommendation of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah

KARACHI:

In an important development, the Sindh government has appointed Fahd Haroon as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh (SACM) for Media Affairs.

According to a notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Dr Sohail Rajput, the appointment was made on the recommendation of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Fahd Haroon is one of the leading media personalities of the present era. He is recognized for his professionalism and innovation in his work. He has shown the essence of his leadership ability in many international and national media houses. Recently, he served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan's Focal Person for Information Analytics.

Haroon has been serving in many important professional and advisory capacities, such as FPCCI Chairman Press and Electronic Media Committee and as a member of Pakistan Broadcasters Association.

He is also a member of the Advisory Committees of many reputed and prominent educational institutions and has been honored with many prestigious honors and awards for his services. Haroon is the son of Ms Fariha Razzaq and grandson of Ms Nishat Afza, both women have been well-known journalists and renowned parliamentarians of Pakistan.
