KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Karachi President Bilal Ghaffar has said that the federal and provincial governments are responsible for the increasing crime incidents in Karachi.

Neither Rana Sanaullah has the ability to establish peace in Karachi nor Murad Ali Shah is capable to curb crimes. He said that Murad Ali Shah is the most incompetent chief minister Sindh has ever witnessed.

In a statement, issued by the media department of PTI, Ghaffar said that citizens feel insecured due to the recruitments in police department on political basis.forfeign

He said that purging the police department by removing the black sheep and introducing a merit system is the top priorities of PTI while all other parties are busy in pleasing their lords.

He added said that, in the past, the services of Sindh Rangers were acquired to establish peace in Karachi. If the Rangers are given additional powers, it would not be difficult to eliminate criminal elements from the city.

Ghaffar mentioned that during the current week, four youth were killed by robbers in Karachi and that is because of the incapability of the PPP-led Sindh government.

Ghaffar further said that the entire police department has become the servant of Bilawal and PPP ministers instead of public servants.

Ghaffar further mentioned that the only job of police is now to stand at certain places and grab money from the innocent people on one pretext or the other.
