Man held for pushing wife off 4th floor
Police arrested a man who killed his wife by pushing her off the fourth floor of an apartment building within the limits of the Risala police station.
SHO Risala Inspector Amin Solangi said that the victim was identified as Maryam, the wife of Adil, who was about twenty years old.
Adil and Maryam got into a domestic dispute, after which Maryam started living at her parent's house with her child.
SHO added that Adil, who worked as a security guard and lived in Malir, went to settle the dispute with Maryam on Saturday night, but things did not work out between the two. The following day he went back to Maryam's place again, and that is when things got out of hand, and Adil pushed Maryam off the building. Police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The body was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital.
