Dead Drunk: Man’s body found in his room
The deceased, Razzaq, a resident of Bhabra Bazar, had apparently died of excessive drinking, police sources said.

A man was found dead in his room in the Waris Khan area on Wednesday. The deceased, Razzaq, a resident of Bhabra Bazar, had apparently died of excessive drinking, police sources said. The incident came to light when the neighbours observed that Razzaq’s room was locked from inside for two days. Upon suspicion, they called the police, who reached the spot and broke the door of the room and found the body lying on the bed. The body was taken to the Districts Headquarter Hospital for legal process.
Meanwhile, Jan Alam lodged a report with the same police that his car (RLF-420) was stolen by unidentified culprits from the same area.
In another incident, the same police arrested four bootleggers and seized 276 bottles of liquor from their possession.
