Sales tax: Sindh ends collection today

KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has stated that the last date of payment of Sindh sales tax on services for July is today (August 25) dispelling rumours of a delay in the final date. All service providers including banks, insurance, telecom companies among others are legally required to pay sales tax on services by August 25. On the issue of delegation of powers to the federal government regarding five services, the spokesperson of Sindh Revenue Board made it clear that the matter is under consideration with the the Sindh Government and so far no decision has been made.
