Deepika Padukone to unveil FIFA World Cup trophy during the finals in Qatar

Indian actor is the first international star to unveil a trophy during the sporting event

For the first time in FIFA World Cup history, an international actor will unveil the trophy during the finals on December 18 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, Qatar. And according to the Hindustan Times, the star is none other than Bollywood's most beloved, Deepika Padukone.

The Piku actor will soon travel to Qatar to be part of the grand sporting event, where the starlet will display the trophy in a stadium packed with people. Prior to this, Padukone also represented India at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 in France as a Jury member.

From being amongst the "World's top 10 most beautiful women" list created by the Golden Ratio of Beauty and becoming the face of numerous global luxury brands such as Levi, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier, Padukone continues to garner a notable international presence.

On the work front, fans will see Deepika in an upcoming film Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The movie is set to release on January 25, 2023. In addition to Pathaan, Deepika will be in Project K with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. She also makes a special appearance in Cirkus, the movie starring her husband, actor Ranveer Singh.
