Fake Encounter Case: Hearings adjourned till August 29
Next date is for the hearing of the main encounter case as well as hearing of the bail request of DSP Riasat Bajwa.

An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday adjourned the proceedings against police officials including a DSP allegedly involved in a fake police encounter as the judge was not feeling well. On Wednesday the jail authorities produced the accused DSP Riasat Bajwa, Sub Inspector Muhammad Riaz and Constables Muhammad Asif and Abdul Qadir before Judge Muhammad Sheraz Kiani’s court. The judge fixed August 29 as the next date for the hearing of the main encounter case as well as hearing of the bail request of DSP Riasat Bajwa.
