Toddler killed in house fire

LAHORE:

A two-year-old child died and his four-year-old brother was injured after a fire broke out in a house in Ichra while their parents were away.

According to local residents, Qasim Ali had left his sons alone at home. While he was away, the house caught fire, leaving his children Azeem and Rehan trapped inside the house.

Due to the fire, the victims suffered burn injuries. Two-year-old Azeem succumbed to the injuries, while four-year-old Rehan was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Reportedly, the fire broke out due to a stove being left on in the house.
