All plots in sectors announced in last six years were priced at Rs10m and above.

KARACHI:

The main accused of Gulshan Dozan Society corruption reference has sought exemption from hearing on account of bad health.

Suspect Adam Khan Jokhio faces charges of cheating public at large in the name of of Gulshan Dozan Society housing project. He had no land yet sold plots to people in 1991. 

Accountability Court of Karachi judge remarked that the court will see the accused first and then decide on the petition.

The defence counsel said Adam Jokhio is sick and therefore should be exempted from the presence.

The NAB investigation officer also submitted a progress report. The IO said that 86 more allottees have been included among the victims. The victims also approached the court to cancel the interim bail of co-accused Lal Khan.
