From his iconic directorial Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to hot-topic discussions on Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar has earned a reputable status in B-town. Alongside the stardom, the director-cum-host also maintains a unique personality, which he believes can only be pulled off by actor Ranveer Singh on the big screen.

In a recent tête-à-tête with Dheeraj Juneja on the Roposo show, Johar revealed that if a biopic based on him was in the works, he would want Singh to star as the lead in it.

"Ranveer Singh! He is like a chameleon and he will do it best," remarked the filmmaker. Singh is also set to star alongside Alia Bhatt in his upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Johar as the director.

Johar also shared about his “unusual” personality as a child that he wants included in his biopic. He said, "My childhood, I had a wonderful childhood; my parents were so good to me and taught me the most amazing life lessons. However, it was also a little bumpy as I was an unusual kid and there were a few emotions that I festered as a kid. I was also different compared to the others, so I had to pay the price for it. It was a tough, but also a very energizing time because when I look back, I feel like I learnt a lot in that phase."

On a more interesting note, Johar also disclosed that even though he is dubbed as 'KJo' in the industry, he dislikes the nickname and prefers people calling him Karan.
