PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Women Wing Peshawar Division held a ceremony to observe the 55th foundation day of the party under the supervision of divisional president Shahnaz Shamsher.

Provincial President Women Wing, Senator Rubina Khalid was chief guest on this occasion and a large number of elected councilors, women and workers participated in the event and cut the party birthday cake.

Senator Rubina Khalid said that 55 years ago Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto founded the Pakistan Peoples Party which was a big gift for the people of Pakistan.

Rubina Khalid said that attempts and conspiracies were made to destroy the PPP, but they failed due to the strong foundations.

She said that PPP is the most popular party of the country to form the federal government.

She said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was the chain of the provinces to develop the country.

Robina Khalid said that the announcement of resignation is nothing except a TV drama serial.

She said that first, the PTI would have to answer about the low economy of the province then they must resign.

Shahnaz Shamsher on the occasion said that PPP is an ideological party of women and the poor.
