According to Sindh Wildlife Inspector Naeem Khan, the monkey has not harmed anyone so far.
"After escaping from the school, the monkey also ate food from someone on the street. We cannot say with certainty for now whether it is a pet or wild animal," he added.
Naeem said that the team is still searching the area, requesting the people not to directly confront the monkey but rather inform the Sindh Wildlife team.
Residents of the area said that the monkey had escaped from a shop in Saddar.
