Grade rules amended for major Sindh depts

The cadres of secretaries of important departments have been changed after amendments to the cadre post rules in Sindh.
The post of secretaries of finance, health, education, local government, slum, environment, forest and wildlife will be of 21 grade, while grade 20 or below postings to the respective posts will be considered as OPS.
According to the new order, the post of five divisional commissioner of the province will be of grade 21. A post of secretary has been created for the Sindh Higher Education Commission. There will be a total of 25 posts of grade 21, and 68 posts of grade 20 in Sindh.
On the other hand, the post of Municipal Commissioner, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation falls in grade 20.
Similarly, the post of Sindh Text Book Board chairman will be in grade 20. Sindh chief minister, personal secretary to governor will be 21 grade officers.
A post of director general has been created in many departments.
