Chief Minister K-P Mahmood Khan

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that it was high time people took to the streets to decide their own future,” adding that “this is the moment to choose between the path to slavery and the struggle for salvation or Haqeeqi Azadi”.

The chief minister added that the [federal] government lacked the capacity or capability to run the country as Pakistan was going through a fragile condition.

“How will these leaders, who are busy in concealing their stolen money, run the country?” he asked pointing towards the alliance that sacked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s federal government.

He said that the people of K-P would never accept slavery of anyone and that they were standing firm with their leader: Imran Khan.

Commenting on the long march, he said that this country was acquired for the independence and national sovereignty but these real outcomes were never achieved because of incapability of selfish political mafia.

Hinting at the conspiracy, the chief minister maintained that the nation rejected decisions directed by foreign forces.

He cautioned that if the people failed to stand for their future and could not make this ‘Azadi’ struggle successful, then its price would be paid by the generations to come.

He was of the opinion that the people of K-P will play crucial role in the success of the ‘Azadi March’.
